- I'm a full time mom who also works part-time outside the home. I enjoy cooking for my friends and family. In recent years, probably from having to feed my children I have become much more interested in what I (and my family) eat and where it comes from. Despite a busy schedule, I like to shop for good ingredients, especially at a fresh green/farmers' market and cook at home.
When I was younger, I was more of a purist, almost a "foodie." Now I take some necessary shortcuts for some things but make other common items from scratch. Balance is everything.
